After only 1 year of working on this I can finally say I am done with my Swoon. If you remember my post from last summer, this was made from my Amy Butler Lark fabric. I absolutely love this quilt. Everything about it! My dear friend Charisma quilted this for me. I wish my camera took better pictures and you could see the detail. It is beautiful! The Madison Modern Quilt Guild was invited to do a quilt show at a local library. We have a meeting tomorrow night and I am hoping they like this enough for the show.
The back and binding are the blue from the top right block. Hope you like this as much as I do.
I have labeled all but two of my quilts. I need to finish two doll quilts for this months swap then I think I will either quilt a baby blanket that is due in November or I may start something new. What are you working on?

Oh my gosh Amy! I love it! So funny - I'm working on quilting my Swoon which was pieced about a year ago too! About half way done now, hoping to have a full reveal post next week.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty. I love the blues & greens.
ReplyDeleteI think your quilt is beautiful! I hope the guild does, too. Congratulations on a great finish.
ReplyDeleteOh this is a pretty quilt!!!!! Great - no, FANTASTIC finish!!!!! I really do like the blue you used for the binding and backing - very pretty. And I have to many things I am working on right now to mention!! I want this list to be either done or at least less long by the end of summer, so I am wanting some finishes to show too!!!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Swoon! I like your bold print fabrics. I have fabrics to make my own for over a year now. I'd like to get to it soon. Yours is lovely.
ReplyDeleteA Swoon quilt is on my to make list. This looks amazing and should definitely be displayed at the show. Well done!
